Disneyland Winter + OOTD

Hope the Holidays were good to everyone!
Happy New Years if it's hit for you <3

OOTD wasn't dramatic or special, just a burgundy
beanie/scarf with a coat, black bottoms, and White Docs.

I took a trip a few days after Christmas to Disneyland, as we really wanted to go during their Holiday time!

The Haunted Mansion becomes Nightmare Before Christmas during Halloween & Xmas time

Fact: The last two weeks of December is the busiest time at Disneyland. This is because of many people getting gifted passes/ being in town for the holidays/ etc.

It was terribly packed. Every line hit over a 50-120 minute wait once in awhile, so we did alot of leisure activities and only went on about 5 rides. If you want the full experience ofcourse, I don't reccomend you go during this time, haha.

We tried alot of food!

Dole Whip Float in Adventureland, delicious all year round!
Plaza Inn Desserts

Even the Restuarants had weep-worthy lines! ; A ;

One place that didn't have a line was Tomorrowland's Carousel building
When I was a child, it only had things that people don't even take a second look at anymore, such as Segways and touch screens, but this was our first time in years going and now it's very different!

They take a photo of you, have you pick what type of futuristic life that suits you, and then creates a storyline!

There was many computers on the top level that looked at items all the way down to the atom of it, spoke about chemistry, and gave you a look into the future life.

The bottom level is an entire smart house!
We walked around alot, and ended up being way too exhausted from figuring out where to go and going through crowds to stay up until midnight, so we went ahead and drank some hot chocolate and site for a few hours waiting for the Castle Winter Time Lighting Ceremony.

Beginning

End ! : > So amazing <3
Of course, many sour people where there today and someone yelled "THAT'S IT?" as he marched off after the show into over 500 acres of magic at every corner, way to go!

A New Years Note:
2012 wasn't fantastic, at all. If I could take out any year, the stress and sadness that this year has brought would lead me to choose this one. But 2013 looks promising, I'll be going down a whole new path of college and moving out and getting an annual pass to Disneyland. Please be good to all of us, 2013!

xx,
Rei
