Coming Home

My sister came home for a week
' v '
and everytime she comes home i'm remind how much I can't to trade in this old laptop for a new Mac
But I'm waiting closer to college time u v u

The weekend she came back, we went to a different sushi place than usual
I love these koji heartspring lashes!

At first, we wanted all you can eat. But we figured if we spent all that money on all you can eat, we would pay less for just ordering rolls as we wished. I suppose you should either be in a rather large group of a couple to successfully get more bang for your buck.

This place is pretty great, the middle roll is amazing!

To Die ■ □ OOTD ■ □

To die would be an awfully big adventure

I used my Urban Decay 20k shimmer primer. It's very nice, this is it by itself, so it works well by itself and is not overwhelmed with shimmer after eyeshadow~~

I recently went through my mom's closet and found a perfect Maxi Skirt

Top- Local Boutique // Skirt- Mom's closet // Necklace - passed down // Shoes- American Eagle

I'm waiting to see my sister to get these, hopefully before I go down to Little Tokyo so I can redo this outfit with the correct shoes.

My aunt gave me this necklace a bit ago, a sort of heirloom ' u '
It's a formal necklace but went extremely well under the color of this top.
I'm also glad I went with this color and not cream, I need more color!

I've been a  bit of a quote monster lately. I've been searching far and wide for a good Senior quote.
u v u hmmph- Something Disney ofcourse!~

Review: Holika Holika Sumertime Face

I wouldn't call this a product line review, as I like to have more than a few different products.
But these two items I recently purchased from Pretty & Cute are amazing!!
 I'll be sharing with you:
1. Holika Holika: Clearing Petit BB cream
 ★★★★★
2.Holika Holika: Cover & Hiding concealer in light beige
★★★★★

A: Products separate:
  • The Cover & Hiding Concealer ((light beige)) is a thicker texture, which makes my skin look great by just covering under my eyes and trouble spots. The application is also extremely easy, as it works as a big crayon, one may say. you simply twist for more product when need, and I do beleive this will last me a good while! For $12, this is definitely a great choice.
  • the Clearing Petit BB Cream is amazing! There are a few different types of the Petit series, but I figured to go for this one, as it was the only one out of the selection that had SEVERAL reviews. The coverage is great, give or take some poor coverage for maybe a bad blemish, though it's perfect for redness and uneven skin tone. any other problem can be fixed by the concealer ((which makes this a great combo!!)).It also smells FANTASTIC AND FRESH, haha. For $15, the size is fair and will last me a long time, as my other creams have.
B:Products Combined
  • The two put together makes for a great even tone. As you can see, the freckle on my hand is slightly showing, but has been nicely covered too! It's very dewy, but feels fresh and nice. Pressed powder can easily help if you do not like the dewy look, as many BB Creams do this.
C: Comparison to LIOELE: BEYOND THE SOLUTION
  • I was never is crazy love with my Beyond the Solution. It has a greyish dark tint, which really didn't go with my skin, so I used it in very small amounts so that press powder and loose powder could assist. When I do my makeup with Petit BB, press powder is barely needed, just to take away some of the dewiness these products give off.
So why is this a "Summertime Face"?
Three words! Light, Bright, and Airy!!
You'll feel so fresh and nice with a face primer and these products!
The SPF 30 in the Petit BB cream will also be a huge help.
Instead of feeling the heaviness of your coverup in the heat, you'll be forgetting you even have it on!

Hope you find this helpful!!

Product Line Review: E.L.F

Hello! Sorry for last weekend's lack of posting, there were several essays and such due!!
Instead of reviewing one thing at a time, I'd like to review a brand at a time
If I have a few different type things from one brand, I'd like to share a review!!
Taken off website: EYESLIPSFACE

E.L.F or EYESLIPSFACE promises beauty at all ages and offers extremely low prices. This may come off as great and affordable allowing you to get more products, or a general turn off as the cheap price may give connotation to a cheap makeup. ELF Relies on advertisement through the grapevine, as you may notice that they do not have much advertisement out there, which is why they have much cheaper prices, along with being a simple drug store makeup.

L-R tweezers ($1), studio fan brush($3), face brush($1),Foundation brush($1),Tinted Moisturizer($3),Blush($1),Liquid Eyeliner($1)
Some things I have.Whenever I go by Target there are a few things I buy, but I've never gone to buy ELF makeup intentionally, more of a "just because it was there" buy.

。。。。。。。。These are personal opinions!  。。。。。。。。

Items I Like
Tweezers:  ★★★★☆
  • You can't exactly go wrong with tweezers though, aha! When first buying these they were actually REALLY sharp, it would seriously cut the hair before plucking....And if I held the sharp end toward my face it would scratch. Now that is has dulled down, it's great.
Foundation Brush: ★★★★☆
  •   It brings great coverage upon application!
Blush in Tickled Pink: ★★★★☆
  • A very suttle color, which probably has much to do with quality in pigment and such a pale pink, BUT that is what I like. I use this for school just for a bit of color. It's very nice in just giving me a "Hi, I'm not dead" look :>

Items that I Find Decent
Liquid Eyeliner: ★★☆☆☆
  • I only recommend this for people who thinly apply eyeliner. Anything thick or winged will most definitely not do.  I use it daily, but it involves me going over it with Laura Mercier Black Eyeshadow, which does nothing for a money saver lol.It it rather watery and does not cover, if you were to draw a line it would be a very spacey and separated line, not a fluent and fully black line.
 Face Brush: ★★★☆☆
  • It's good for applying things that I may want to be more faint, but would probably never do any justice to something pigmented.
Studio Fan Brush:★★★☆☆
  • Promises to brush away fly aways and to be used as contouring. Yes, It's shape be be very much so helpful with contouring, but the brush is very flimsy, and there isn't much control in trying to get anything like that done. A smaller and more controlled brush would be of better use when trying to contour, but it is rather useful for fly aways.
Things I Could Do Without
Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain: ★☆☆☆☆
  • online reviews are great for this, so i guess to each their own, but to each their own- it was not too good for me. It smells nice, as it offers Aloe,Cucumber, and Vitamins A,C,& E; BUT, the color is very yellow. I use a small amount under foundation at times because it does moisturize nicely, but using it alone is just very much so unflattering to my skin tone. You would just assume that being a color like porcelain you wouldn't be able to go wrong, but idk lol.

Conclusion?
You get what you pay for. This line is extremely hit or miss, and not a huge dent in your wallet if it happened to be a "miss".Brushes are nice, but nothing compared to high-end brushes. It's very easy to walk in with 10 bucks and walk out with a decent "collection", but is it as appealing as saving up and getting much better quality makeup? Definitively not. I don't choose any of these products to favor over higher-end products I have (as I see some people review to be the case). It's a good brand to have some brushes for a cheap price, something someone starting on makeup may enjoy to have.

◉◞౪◟◉ Cha Cha Cha!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
May many gummy worms be apart of your 2012!
My sister and I have wasted our life the last week
watching the my new favorite show "Dexter".
But anyways
Christmas was good, my mom wasn't there and infact she isn't coming back until the 22nd.
I miss her terribly! But she must do what she needs to, RIP Grandma :<.
I didn't get many presents, because I got one big one!
I really love them, they're very comfy :> and then my mom got be packing tape.
*A* It was more of a "stop touching my packing tape" gift, she said!
My sister bought me litas, but I'm still waiting int he mail for them *A*

Then I just got $$ and Gift cards.
As a gift to myself, I bought a wig~* Alslo a small Toki Doki
Palette that I'm still waiting for.
It's sort of my color, but longer and wavy, I really like it!

C L O T H E S
long and large tops for leggings, both H&M DIVIDED.
APT 9 navy cardigan/ Sonoma pink cardigan/ Cinderella V-neck

I wanted more t-shirts, but crew necks really bother me *A*
I had also bought some beanies
Hope everyone's new year's wishes go through~
I strive to achieve many things this year.
Let's hope for the best!

If I'm a duck then you're a duck. (ノ ◑‿ ◑)ノ

Hello!
I'm 1/3 done with finals.
AP English and AP US History was Friday. Extremely easy though.
I don't think my AP teacher care much for finals, they give enough work to prove we know the material throughout the year. Or maybe it's just that I have the 2 most amazing AP teachers who have prepared me for the material so well. :>
Alg 2 and Spanish 3 tomorrow, Chem and Theater Tuesday.
I was meant to study yesterday, but instead I finished my scarf and did my makeup.
I have a little tree :3
My parents went to a christmas party, so I was able to use my lenses too.
I won't have to be sneaking once I graduate :> My mother said I can do whatever I want once I leave LOL.
I must clarify, I was allowed to wear them once, but I had the flu and the doctor at urgent care blamed my lenses (though I didn't even wear them for a whole week prior?) then I received lenses for xmas and I wasn't about to throw them out.....Then I started buying more. ;A; lol!
And the scarf!

Now for today, Sunday, I'm going to study, bake, and possibly jump off a bridge ' u '
I've already gone to Game Stop
The Buy 2 Get 1 Free on pre-owned games was going on.
It was pretty stupid. The guy said it was actually buy two get a 5 dollar game for free OR buy two get 5 dollars off a used game. SAT coach was 4.99 though, so even if the deal was legitimately buy 2 get 1 FREE, it'd still be the same deal. So, I bought Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, Raving Rabbids Party, and my SAT Coach. I'll probably return SAT coach or sell after I take my SATs though lol.

Korilakkuma y yo vamos a estudiar! Nostotros hablamos espanol bueno :>

❧ Lurid ♔ Syndrome

Hello! As some of you know my contacts came in the mail last weekend
So after coming home from a party ( my arms hurt from the "just dance" game on the wii!!) I played with makeup to kill time.

Not an everyday look! But if I were to go to an event themed obscurely or if I was going out wearing something very dark and edgy, no doubt I'd be doing this look.
I've been pushing myself to go more out of the box and practicing certain looks, it's very fun and interesting!
The bottom lashes are just one top lash cut in half, after putting those on I felt like a less chunked spike and a more varied top lash would look better, note for next time!
These lenses blend very well with my natural eye color, and the 15mm is amazing!
Hopefully next week I can review, though I'll be going to see my sister down at her college.

Here's a picture of them with more toned down makeup!~

Talk to you soon!

Happy 4th! + Recommended products for summer

Or a very special Monday if you're not in America~

I spent the morning doing Volunteer work at my city's YMCA
There was a festival and Parade *U*
Majority of my volunteering was the snow cone booth *A* it was so busy!
With summer activities like this, it's really smart to change some products that will benefit for you in the summer! Here are some things I find myself using :>

Avon Magix Primer with  SPF 20
So your foundation feels less heavy, a primer is great.
Not only does this take away that heavy sweaty feeling, but it also has SPF 20 in it!
And this runs for a very good price so you can use it on ever sunny occasion~
Jergens Natural Glow Tanner
I tan horribly *A* I wore capris today and I still have a tan line as if I wore pants! :C
This tanner is meant mostly to work on a tan while looking tan, if that makes sense.
It smells great and has a gold shimmer to it, but the color comes out usually after the one week use.

Makeup Forever: Mist and Fix
Very good for summer! I used this every-time I went out in Oklahoma, because of all their humidty
It also works great if you spray it onto a brush or clean finger and pat onto your eyeshadow for a better fix.
MF DOES have an eye seal for that, though.

Lioele: Beyond the Solution Triple Solution
Summer is a great time to try using bbcream! this bbcream has a great ammount of SPF 30
it also feels way lighter, which makes for less suffering in this crazy heat!

Well, it's only 3:30 here :C I don't think I'll be doing anything else.Haha, maybe next year I'll make plans and buy lots of fireworks with friends. Sounds so fun *U*

Happy Independence Day!

Oklahoma 2011 in a nutshell

Hey dolls! I missed everyone so so much
I was super excited to be home~~Oklahoma was nice but I can only stand being away from home for so long
There were some challenges but everyday ended up being enjoyable!

(´ヘ`;) a few off things would have to be how humid and hot it was there, so my makeup felt nasty and I broke out a bit, I was drinking gallons of water too! The upsides overcame those faults though.
The view was really nice! My Aunt's new house~ my sister and I walked until the grass got taller, because there's alot of biting bugs there.( ’ㅅ’)~*

They also have alot of great stores out in my Aunt's area! My grandma gave us money to spend and have a good time, and with the great prices  I ended up with alot of things.
Everything but the palette came from Ulta, All I ever do is get browns so I decided to step out of that and get pinks from nyx! That lip gloss was pretty nice until it opened and melted all over my top (ノ_・。)
The Palette is from Glamifeye (sp*? I don't have it next to me) and was originally 10, but I got it for 5 at this store called Gordmans, it's like Ross on steroids! *A* I plain to review these products on Miel❤ Maquillage
Then right by Gordmans there was a one dollar accessory story. I got alot of new earrings, necklaces, and hair things  .

A few days from arriving we took a road trip to Arkansas, to the Crescent Hotel. If you watch Ghost Hunters, you'll know this place is pretty "haunted". We stayed in a balcony room which had nice view of the front. Also we too their Ghost Tour. no ghost caught though haha! They had very cool stories of ghost history though.

This area on Arkansas relies on their income by tourism, so they have this great downtown area that sells food, clothes, and antiques. i ended up getting a Anna Sui bag (small) and this nice necklace, I'll share pictures in another post!

So then we went BACK to Oklahoma, did more stuff, and took a one day trip to Dallas, Texas and ate at the Rain Forest cafe in the Grapevine Mills mall. I found 3 dollar harem pants! there were on sale at Papaya, I also got a 5 dollar top which will be posted some other time I guess
The rest of the trip was just driving around places and eating lol.
I had a really great time, and I was so happy to see California again~
Now, I'm ready to go hang out, get back to working out, and meeting new people!
